A WEEK of wellbeing activities is being held in Winsford from Monday to Saturday, February 23.

This annual event promises to be bigger and better than ever before and concludes with a bustling marketplace event on the Saturday from 10am to 2.30pm.

Stalls offering information, practical tips and advice will be at Winsford Cross Shopping Centre.

Winsford Town Cllr Ailsa Gaskill-Jones has been working with more than 30 partners who have teamed up to form a Wellbeing Winsford Hub to help improve the health and wellbeing of residents.

A wealth of health and wellbeing initiatives offer people the chance to try something new, meet people, discuss issues and find out how to improve their lifestyle.

Activities range from celebrations, gatherings and exercise classes to workshops, talks and information events.

The aim is to provide residents with fresh opportunities to live healthier lives, meet new people and stay connected to their community.

A programme listing details of all the activities is available from the council offices on The Drumber and various places through the town centre.
