FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fuel spillage in Middlewich.
Crews were called to Webbs Lane shortly after 9.30am this morning and discovered around 60 litres of diesel had leaked from a broken down vehicle.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to dilute the fuel and clear the spillage.
The Environment Agency has been informed of the incident.
Crews were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
