THE foodbank in Winsford is urgently appealing for donations as more families in crisis seek emergency help.
In the past week alone, volunteers fed 118 people, including 34 children.
Mid-Cheshire Foodbank wants to say a big thank you to everyone who donates but they now need more food to deep up with demand.
At present they urgently need rice pudding, sponge pudding, tinned custard and long life fruit juice.
Money donations are always welcome and will be used to buy supplies.
All donations, large and small, are gratefully received and can be dropped off at the warehouse at Unit 14, The Business Centre, Barlow Drive in Winsford on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12 noon.
Food can also be taken to collection points at All Your Appliances on Road One, Winsford Industrial Estate, Asda at The Drumber and Co-op Funeralcare on Over Square.
Donations can also be made at justgiving.com/midcheshirefoodbank.
