EMERGENCY services were called to a crash in Middlewich this afternoon, involving two cars and a skip.
Firefighters from Winsford were called to the 'low-impact' crash in Chester Road at 1.13pm today, Thursday.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The team provided basic first aid to the driver of one of the cars and she was then passed to the care of paramedics – she did not require hospital treatment."
Firefighters were detained at the scene for approximately 20 minutes.
A Guardian reader said drivers were briefly being diverted down Coalpit Lane as the incident was dealt with.
