A TEENAGE pageant queen has vowed to save lives by raising funds for vital cancer research.

Beth Walker, from Barnton, Miss Teen Galaxy for Northwich is hoping to collect as much money as possible for The Christie Hospital.

The 16-year-old is organising a race night at Barnton Cricket Club on Saturday, February 16.

The South Cheshire College beauty student has supported various charity events since she won her first beauty title.

She donated gifts to children and staff at Leighton Hospital and has signed up for the Chrstie’s Tower Run next month, climbing 798 steps up the Beetham Tower in Manchester.

Tickets for the race night, priced £5, are available behind the bar.
