A FORMER childminder has opened her very own nursery after years of hard work.

Jordan Johnson, 28, lives in Latchford and has dreamt of opening her own nursery every since she left university.

On January 3, she opened Jordan's House in Barbauld Street, Warrington town centre, providing nursery and after-school services.

Jordan explained: "We are a dedicated pre-school for children aged two and upwards, and an after school/after nursery club that collects from Latchford St James Primary School.

"We have a dedicated early years teacher so children are getting the skills they need to start school, but also a homely family feel environment.

"We have had nothing but positive feedback since we opened from parents and children – children don't want to go home at the end of the day."
