HOME care service Archangel Care has maintained its positive rating from the national healthcare watchdog.

The Winsford-based service, run from Meridian House on Winsford Industrial Estate, was rated ‘good’ in a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The home care service is owned by Archangel Enterprises Limited and provides personal care to adults in their own homes. It offers support to older people and people with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, physical disabilities and dementia.

‘Good’ ratings – the second highest that the CQC can award – were achieved in categories of safety, effectiveness, care and responsiveness, and leadership.

In a report, the inspector said: “At our last inspection we rated the service good. At this inspection we found the evidence continued to support the rating of good and there was no evidence or information from our inspection and ongoing monitoring that demonstrated serious risks or concerns.

“People told us they felt safe using the service and felt safe with the staff team.”
