INQUISITIVE children have discovered what coding is all about, thanks to a bank.

Pupils at the Grange Community Nursery and Primary School on Brindley Avenue in Winsford welcomed a team of volunteers from Barclays Bank for a special tutorial.

Youngsters of all ages took park in coding workshops, using a programme called Scratch to develop their understanding of coding.

They learnt how to create games using different codes and algorithms.

Executive head teacher Annette Williams, said: "We are so lucky to be part of such a wonderfully supportive community and we really appreciate the work of the volunteers who gave up their time to come and work with our fabulous children.

"It was a wonderful day and everyone enjoyed themselves."
