RESIDENTS attended the Middlewich Library for a morning of activities and games during the first meeting of the ‘Meet on a Monday Club’.
The group meets on Mondays at 10am, it is free to enter but there is a £1 charge for refreshments.
Angus Varley, club organiser, said: “It’s something we have just launched in Middlewich to get people in the community together.”
The activities run on a four week cycle.
The first week is jigsaws and games, the second is focused on literature and will include shared reading and creative writing.
The third week is about improving people’s IT skills and there will be an opportunity to check your family tree.
The fourth week includes adult colouring and quizzes.
Angus added: "It provides a chance for people to get out of the house and connect with other people. Some of the sessions will run until midday and some will finish at 11am."
