A SCHOOLBOY who won a Christmas cake has donated it to Weaver Lodge treatment and recovery centre in Winsford.
Carys Skinner, from the Alternative Futures Group which runs Weaver Lodge, said: "A young boy called Thomas from the Winsford area won a Christmas cake at his school fair on guess the weight of the cake.
"Thomas did not want the cake so decided to donate it to Weaver Lodge treatment and recovery centre in Winsford.
"He came to Weaver Lodge on Christmas eve with his mum to ask if our service users and staff would like the cake.
"Staff and service users fully enjoyed the cake."
