SANTA is bringing Christmas cheer to families as he drives around Winsford.

Children can watch out for him as he travels through the town's streets between 5.30pm and 8pm Monday to Friday.

A timetable is not available so families are being asked to be keep an eye out for Father Christmas as he strives to visit as many streets as possible.

Mark Holmes, from the Rotary Club of Winsford and Middlewich, said: "Please remember that we are all volunteers who are giving our time to bring smiles to the faces of children and adults this Christmas time.

"Each evening we will try to share on our Facebook page which area we are visiting. If we are in your area, please come out and say hello to Santa, take a photo and share on Facebook and let others know where we are.

"Unfortunately we will be unable to answer every question asking: ‘Where’s Santa tonight’ or ‘Are you coming to........?'

"We really enjoy spreading Christmas joy and it is a really worthwhile experience supporting Santa on his sleigh.

"All money collected does go to enable us to continue supporting local and international projects."

Santa will be visiting homes across Winsford until Friday, December 21.
