A CHRISTMAS craft fair is being held to raise funds for the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford.

Handcrafted festive gifts, toys, decorations and stocking fillers will be on sale from 10am to 3pm every day this week until Friday, November 23 at the centre on Woodford Lane West.

A selection of unique Christmas cards have been designed at a workshop by an enthusiastic relaxation and therapeutic crafting team at the centre.

Everyone is welcome to come along during the week and browse round the handmade items.

Admission is free and the building is wheelchair accessible.

Mince pies and refreshments will be available and all proceeds will go to the centre.

This pioneering charity provides a unique combination of life enhancing opportunities and support for people affected by Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle-wasting condition.

The centre offers a range of services including physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, supported training and employment opportunities, as well as information, support and advice.

Parking is available on the road.

Hundreds of families across Cheshire and the north west use the centre.

Running costs are in excess of £1.1 million and the charity relies almost entirely upon public donations, the generosity of companies/groups, and various fundraising events throughout the year.
