A NEWBORN buffalo calf has been born at Knowsley Safari Park - and you can vote what her name should be.
Keepers Knowsley Safari welcomed the latest edition to their forest buffalo herd three weeks ago.
They have selected four names - and want the public to decide what the cute calf will be called.
Each name represents a different meaning:
Belle - ‘beautiful' in the official language of DR Congo French
Sipho - ‘gift’ in the African language Xhosa
Juniper - ‘youth’ in Latin
Amira - ‘princess’ in Arabic

The forest buffalo herd at Knowsley Safari greeted the latest arrival recently and she can be seen by visitors grazing on the safari drive alongside rhino and antelope.
The forest buffalo is a very social species and the mothers are very protective of their young.
The forest buffalo is the only subspecies of buffalo that occurs mainly in the rainforest of central and western Africa.
Never spotted too far from water, the Merseyside winter is perfect for the animals.
Knowsley Safari’s £20 per car offer is back with FREE entry to the foot safari until February 15, 2019.
