KNUTSFORD Market Hall’s Market Café is hosting a special breakfast with Father Christmas on Saturday, December 15.
There will be two sittings, one between 9am and 10am and a second between 10.15am and 11.15am.
This means there is ample time for little ones to chat with Father Christmas while enjoying a breakfast of hot chocolate and pastries.
Parents or carers can buy breakfast from the café as well. There will also be a little treat for children at the end.
Steph Chadwick of The Market Café said: “We love Christmas and thought it would be a lovely to have Father Christmas visit the café and the Market Hall.
“We love being part of the community and can’t wait to see the children’s faces.” Tickets cost £5 and can be bought at The Café.
The market hall is introducing Recipe of the Month to visitors using ingredients sourced from the market traders.
The first recipe is from Ollie Chadwick from The Market Café and is the classic cottage pie.
Visitors can pick up a recipe sheet which is easy to follow with a guide to where to source the ingredients along with a cost for a typical family of four.
The first recipe also includes an optional side dish and a wine recommendation from Morgan Edwards.
Sandra Curties, town centre manager, said: “The recipe will change with the seasons and you will probably see ideas and recipes from each Market Trader not just the Café. We will also be posting the recipe on the Market Hall’s webpage.”
