A POIGNANT display to commemorate the centenary of the First World War has been created by a Winsford florist.
Georgina Lockett has arranged a veil of poppies beside a silhouette of a soldier in the window of her shop at Georgina's Incredible Blooms on High Street.
Georgina, 60, said: "I wanted to do something special. I lost an uncle in the last war and my husband Richard lost three relatives.
"My husband made the figure of the soldier.
"I made a veil of poppies and weaved poppies through a willow heart."
