POLICE officers in Winsford have warned that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated after children were caught throwing eggs tonight, Friday.
A post on the Winsford Swanlow and Dene Facebook page shortly after 7.30pm followed reports of a group of youths in Bedford Rise.
The post said: "There is currently a group of children egging a property and running away from police shouting abuse when called to be dealt with.
"One young boy has just repeatedly ignored my request to come to me when I caught him outside the property that had been targeted and ran off, showing no respect to myself or his community.
"This is very disappointing and a nasty incident for the home owners and this will NOT be tolerated.
"Fortunately I have a list of names.
"Expect a knock, knock on your door next week if your children have been involved and hopefully we can work together.
"I will also be liaising with housing as this behaviour can affect tenancies so please speak with your children and teach them how to treat people properly."
Children have also been reported playing in the derelict Liquid Lounge building this evening.
Call police on 101 with any information.
