A FIRE in Bostock had to be put out this morning by firefighters.
A spokesman for the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At around 11am firefighters were called to reports of a fire on the side of a road near to Davenham roundabout in Bostock, Middlewich.
"On arrival the crew discovered a small fire involving wood.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around half-an-hour."
One fire engine from Winsford attended the scene.
