PLANS to build another surgery room in Woodlands Dental, in St Ann’s Road, have been accepted by Cheshire East Council.

The proposal is to convert the upstairs bedroom into another surgery room.

The original planning application for the dental practice was accepted with a condition that there could not be more than one surgery room.

The Cheshire East Council officer’s report said: “Highways has been consulted on the proposal and consider that the site is sustainably located and a proportion of the trips to the site would be from pedestrians.

“The net impact of a single additional surgery room over a bedroom would be minimal.

“As such the increase in the number of treatment rooms is considered to be acceptable.”
