MIDDLEWICH Library is set to host the launch of Philip Andrew’s book’ The Fragrant Blossom of Middlewich Volume Two’ on Friday, November 9.
The launch starts at 2.30pm and is free to attend with refreshments provided.
Philip conducted a lot of research in order to reveal the stories behind the Middlewich residents who fought in the Great War.
Volume two has been revised since volume one to show fourteen new names which have been added to the Middlewich War Memorial.
This event is being run in accordance with the World War One Remembrance Centenary taking place in Middlewich. Attendance is free and refreshments are provided.
The book is a limited edition and a best buy. It costs £20 and at the launch Philip will give an introduction to his book and will be signing copies.
