WINSFORD Salt Fair made a surplus of £1,200, town councillors were told at a meeting on Monday.
The annual event celebrates the town's rich salt heritage and commemorates the charter from King Edward I which granted a weekly market and annual fair.
Town mayor Cllr Gina Lewis thanked everyone for helping to make the fun-filled four day event such a success.
Plans for next year's Salt Fair will be discussed at next month's town council meeting.
