OLD cars meandered through the roads as part of an annual challenge.
Drivers and navigators were taking part in the Tour of Cheshire historic road rally run by Knutsford and District Motor Club.
Photographer Chris Brennan captured pictures of the vehicles as they made their way through Winsford on September 29.
The rally tests navigational skills and is not a high speed test on public roads. Tests are done on private land in between the road stages.
The event is normally held in March but was postponed this year due to poor weather.
Ian Crammond and Matthew Vokes driving a Mercedes 280SL won the race and were presented with the Mike Sutcliffe memorial trophy.
This trophy awarded to the highest placed driver and navigator in a pre-1960 car was won by Mike Sutcliffe on the 1959 RAC Rally and is loaned by Jackie Sutcliffe for this event.
