PLANS have been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council regarding the increase in capacity of a proposed Wimboldsley dog day care centre.

The property, in Newfield Farm, had plans accepted for 12 dogs to be allowed at one time in the centre.

Due to recent environmental checks, the applicants are now seeking to increase that number to 20 dogs.

The applicant stated: “The number of dogs in our original application was limited to twelve due to advice from Colin Rathbone, the licensing officer for Cheshire West and Chester.

“At a recent site visit on 15th August, Colin informed us that the standards will change from 1st October enabling us to have more dogs.

“Colin stated that he would recommend us to have twenty dogs due to the size, location and nature of the facility.”
