Police arrest man in Wheelock Street
POLICE arrested a man in Wheelock Street yesterday evening after receiving reports of a man causing a ‘disturbance’ in the town centre.
At 6.21pm yesterday, Sunday, police were called to Wheelock Street in Middlewich following reports of a man chasing and shouting at members of the public.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “A 20-year-old man from Manchester was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.”
