THE creative talents of a Winsford artist will be on display at Chester Cathedral in an exhibition commemorating the end of the First World War.
Anne Johnson, from Cross-Hatch Community Gallery and Makespace Winsford, has been busy putting some final touches to an installation bound for the Cheshire Artists Network War and Peace Exhibition taking place in the city.
Anne said: “It is a commemorative piece produced in the gallery, with the origami doves made by pupils from schools across Winsford through the Winsford Educational Partnership."
The exhibition forms the last event in the Cheshire Artists Network’s World War I Commemorative Project which began in 2014 with the aim of commemorating those who took part in fighting and supporting roles.
The free exhibition runs from August 29 to September 25, between 9am and 5pm. For more information visit chestercathedral.com
