LEGENDS from the world of tennis served up a major cash boost for the Seashell Trust.

The charity caters for children and young people with complex communication difficulties, and netted £4,035 thanks to the generous guests at the 2018 Boodles Tennis at The Mere.

Players including Henri Laconte Henri Leconte, Richard Krajicek and Barbara Schett entertained guests of internationally-renowned jewellers Boodles in the setting of The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford.

Stret from organisers 100 Events said: “We are delighted to support this wonderful local charity.

“It is only through the support of people and organisations such as 100 Events that we can provide them with specialist equipment and activities that enhance their young lives.”
