FIREFIGHTERS were at the scene of a building for close to four hours dealing with an incident that involved a gas cylinder.
The industrial building in Deakins Road, Winsford, had to be evacuated at around 11am today, Thursday, as firefighters from Northwich and Winsford were called to reports of a fire, citing an acetylene cylinder as the cause.
Crews set up a 100 metre cordon and used ahose reel jet to extinguish the fire and cool the gas container while wearing breathing apparatus
Officers left the scene at around 2.45pm.
