A PHARMACY in Middlewich has received a 100% satisfaction rating in a recent survey.

Cledford Pharmacy and Post Office, in Warmingham Lane, achieved a perfect score from customers who took part in the NHS Pharmacy Patient Survey.

Becky Womersley, pharmacy manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted that our customers rated us so highly. We thank everyone who participated and loved seeing all of the kind comments.”

Pharmacies are required to carry out an annual patient survey as part of an NHS contract, and patients are asked to give their views on several different areas of the pharmacy.

Out of 100 people surveyed, everyone who gave their feedback said that the pharmacy provided ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ service.

Making sure that advice was easily available to customers stood out in the survey as something to improve on for the pharmacy.

Becky said: “Signs are put up on the walls about healthy living advice, and a limited number of leaflets are available, but a high percentage of our customers are still not receiving advice.

“We are looking to make more leaflets and posters available in the pharmacy about smoking, healthy eating and the benefits of physical exercise. They may not seem alarmingly relevant to the customer, but by taking these actions we can still make them aware of the help we can offer.”
