M6 traffic as lane closes between Knutsford and Middlewich
TRAFFIC is building on the M6 southbound between Knutsford and Middlewich, due to a broken down car stranded in the roadworks.
One lane is closed between junctions 19 for Knutsford and 18 for Middlewich and Holmes Chapel following a breakdown.
Highways England traffic officers and a recovery truck are making their way to the scene, within the smart motorway works, to recover the car.
Due to ongoing roadworks, there is no hard shoulder between junctions 19 and 16 on the M6.
