Fire crews at the incident
FIREFIGHTERS were called this morning to an HGV on fire on the A534 at Haslington.
Two fire engines from Crewe attended at 10.17am and used two hose reels and a covering jet to extinguish the fire.
They used cutting equipment to gain access to the back of the vehicle, which is believed to contain a large quantity of cans of fish.
