TALENTED performers shared their skills with a packed audience in Winsford.

The first Thanks for the Memory Variety Show, which was held on November 22 at the Winsford Academy, saw more than 100 people between the ages of three to 80 strut their stuff.

The Dave Egerton Big Band, Winsford Education Partnership Staff Choir, Spotlights Glee Club, Cockney Carol and the Ageless Ukes all performed on the night.

Soloists Sam Lyon, Molly Shaw and Crailin Wilson, the Winsford Academy Viva Canto Choir and a girl group of Abi Daniels, Holly Bell, Jess Okome and Megan Bell also performed.

Pupils from The Winsford Academy’s dance and drama departments also made an appearance.

The show raised £1,020 to help the Alzheimers Society and will also help the Dingle Centre, in Winsford, to buy a music system.

Tim Ashcroft, from Thanks for the Memory, said: “We are really pleased with the afternoon and the money we raised.

“We hope to put this on again next year.
