Lorry hay fire in Crewe closes A500
FIREFIGHTERS are on the scene in Weston, Crewe, where a HGV carrying a large amount of hay has caught fire.
One fire engine from Crewe, one from Nantwich and one from Sandbach are deadling with the blaze on the A500.
Crews are using two hose reels on the fire and road closures are in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while the incident is ongoing.
