A SPIRITUAL practitioner has released her fourth supernatural novel, just six weeks after giving birth to her second child.

Catherine Green, from Middlewich, released The Darkness Of Love last week and is her first novel to be traditionally published by an international publishing house.

The novel, which is published by Chances Press, follows the story of Lord Gregory Stockton, a powerful vampire who cannot provide an heir and notices a growing attraction between his wife and the young stable hand resulting in the humans becoming unwitting pawns in a vampire’s game of lust, love and control.

“I’ve always had a fascination or the supernatural,” said Catherine, who is a shaman in training.

“One of the characters from my Redcliffe trilogy, Marcus Scott, forced me to write his story which is where the inspiration came from for The Darkness of Love.”

Catherine, who has a two-year-old and a newborn, manages to juggle her professional life with her time as a mother and is already working on a fourth novel for her paranormal romance Redcliffe series.

“I’m hoping for the fourth novel to be finished by the end of this year. I don’t know how I do it but it comes fairly easy. Sometimes I’ll be sitting at the computer feeding the baby with one hand and typing using the other.”

Catherine plans to organise a book signing at Drinks and Bites in Wheelock Street in October.

The Darkness Of Love is now available to buy online.
