HERE we go again. Feel-good musical Mamma Mia will return to the Liverpool Empire next year for a two-week run from April 28 to May 9.
From West End to global phenomenon, the production borrows Abba’s songs to tell Judy Craymer’s story about a mum, a daughter and three possible dads unfolding on a Greek island.
The hit musical, which had a 14-year run on Broadway, has already been seen by more than 65 million people in 50 productions in 16 different languages.
Judy said: “We are thrilled to announce that Mamma Mia will be returning to Liverpool.
“With it being 20 years since the show premiered in London’s West End, it is an incredibly exciting time to celebrate. We can’t wait to have Liverpool audiences dancing in the aisles.”
