A NEW restaurant is ready to arrive on Warrington’s food scene.

And we have an amazing prize to give 10 readers the chance to be the first to sample the menu.

Husband and wife team Gultekin and Nicky Ugurbascicek are launching Istanbul Grill with the aim of bringing authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine to Warrington.

Based on Mersey Street, is thought to be the only charcoal barbecue Turkish restaurant in the town centre.

Gultekin said: “All the food will be prepared with fresh ingredients and the menu will include a variety of dishes, from tender spring lamb and succulent chicken to fresh seafood and delicious vegetarian options too.”

It will officially open for business on Friday, June 14 with a soft opening the day before.

The owners are offering 10 Warrington Guardian readers the chance to win a place for two at that soft opening on Thursday, June 13.
