One of the founding members of the band is Raymond Pitt who was in the Warrington band Tartan and Widnes-based Secrets before joining the recently formed ELO Show.

Also featuring a string section and a full lightshow and production, fans can expect classics like Mr Blue Sky, Telephone Line, Wild West Hero, Turn to Stone, Sweet Talkin’ Woman and Standing in the Rain.

A spokesman for The ELO Show said: “The band is recently formed and uses live strings, custom made videos as well as a cast of experienced musicians.

“The band also recently recorded a DVD in Holland.

“Raymond is a founding member of The ELO Show which is a dream come true for him having been a long time ELO fan.

“Raymond is especially excited to be playing a gig at Parr Hall in Warrington and is hoping to see some familiar faces in the crowd.”
