THE touring production of Rocky Horror Show, starring Warrington’s own Laura Harrison, is returning to the north west.

Following its Manchester run in January, fans will be doing the Time Warp again at Liverpool Empire from April 29 to May 4.

Laura, a former Woolston High School student, plays castle maid Magenta alongside the likes of Strictly Come Dancing’s Joanne Clifton and a1’s Ben Adams.

The 31-year-old has previously appeared in Legally Blonde and Blood Brothers.

Laura, who kickstarted her career with a BBC musical theatre bursary, has also sang with the likes of Peter Andre and Jason Manford. She was bitten by the stage bug when she attended youth musical theatre company CODYS and went on to study performing arts at Priestley College where she is regarded as one of the department’s first success stories.

Laura said: “I preach to everyone about Priestley College and the drama department because it was thanks to the support of the team there like Sarah and Helen that I’ve gone on to have these opportunities.

“I was also a part of CODYS and that played a massive part in everything I do.
