MANCHESTER Film Festival will return for its fifth year at Great Northern Warehouse between March 2 and 10.

More than 150 films will make up the line-up including star-studded movies, documentaries, short films, music videos, animated features and even virtual reality.

Highlights include the world premieres of Limbo, starring James Purefoy, about a murderer who find himself on trial in Hell, and British film The Runaways, which features The Full Monty’s Mark Addy in a story of three young siblings travelling across the country trying to avoid social services.

The festival will also have the first screening of Far From the Apple Tree that sees Netflix’s The Innocents star Sorcha Groundsell as a struggling artist who lands her dream job...or so she thinks.

The Princess of the Row – starring Martin Sheen – will make its UK premiere too which tells the story of a young girl who has escaped the foster care system to live on LA’s infamous Skid Row.
