HAVING taken a break from partying, a Warrington club night is returning for a ‘white Christmas’.

A Very Important House Party will be hosting the first in a series of themed parties on Saturday, December 1, at The Auction Rooms in Legh Street. The optional dress code for the evening is ‘all things white and beautiful’.

Resident DJs will be joined by Stuart ‘Quiffy’ Halkon and renowned Manchester DJ Mark XTC. Mark started his DJing career in the late 80s when he was just 15 and went on to win the North West DMC DJ Championships.

From there he began to produce his own music with his group, Mix Factory, who had a chart hit with Take me Away.

Sammy Dean, who originally launched A Very Important House Party as a way to relive her clubbing days when she hit her 40s, said: “Mark is a multi-faceted DJ, who showcases superb scratching skills and plays a diverse range of music, from old skool, house, jungle and drum and bass.

“The friendly party vibe welcomes partygoers of all ages.

Tickets are £7 and are available from Lizard Inc Records in Legh Street or on skiddle.com.
