A GARDEN specialising in unusual plants and trees is opening to the public next Sunday in aid of charity.
Part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS), Long Acre in Wyche Lane, Bunbury, is a plantswoman's garden with approximately one acre of rare plants and trees.
Opening their garden for the first time in 2000, Margaret and Michael Bourne are displaying South African plants, roses, pool gardens, a Spring garden, a wild garden with a collection of rare trees and a small vineyard.
An exotic conservatory is not to be missed.
The gardens will be open from 2-5pm on Sunday, June 24 with home-made teas served during this time.
Admission for adults is £3.50 and free for children with a share of the money being donated to the Horses and Ponies Protection Association and to St Boniface Church as well as to cancer and gardening charities supported by the NGS.
For further information call Mr and Mrs Bourne on 01829 260944.
