GET a load of The Handsome Beasts at the Limelight on Sunday.
Original heavy rockers, they became local heroes in their native Brum in the early 80's.
The band separated in the mid-80's only to reform in 1990 for a short stint.
Nicknamed the original fat bastard by Kerrang!, frontman Garry Dalloway revived the name with a new-line up in 2004 but sadly died of a heart attack a year later.
Bizarrely he'd picked out his successor 18 months earlier when watching a covers outfit and the band decided to approach Simon Hall to play in Dalloway's memory.
Hall did the business and the Beasts decided to go on raising roofs.
They go live from 9.30pm.
Admission is free.
