CHOLMONDELEY Castle is revving up the excitement for their summer Fireworks Concert.
Joining forces with Mini for the event on July 21 and with an Italian theme chosen this year by Lady Cholmondeley, there will be opportunity to enjoy some of the best-loved operatic works by the great Italian composers including Verdi and Puccini.
"In the second half, however," says manager James Hall, "the music is always a little lighter before rounding off with the traditional Proms style finale, and the 1812 Overture, so it was hard to resist including music from the iconic Michael Cane classic, The Italian Job.
"We are delighted to be working with Mini and are in the early stages of preparing three cars to re-enact a scene."
Until the end of May, ticket prices will be at the cheaper rate of £22 for adults and £15 for children.
