(DISTRICT OF CRAVEN) (AMENDMENT NO 15) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that on 10/08/2018 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Craven) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing disabled persons' parking bays in the locations specified below (N.B. The Order as originally advertised also included proposed disabled persons' parking bays at Carleton-in-Craven (Vicar's Row), Cowling (Walton Street), High Bentham (Lakeber Avenue) and Skipton (Broughton Road) - a decision on these has been deferred):-
Cononley: Meadow Lane (North Side, parallel to the kerb line) - From a point 28 metres west of Meadow Croft, to a point 6.6 metres west; Cross Hills: Ash Street (West Side, parallel to the kerb line) - From a point opposite the boundary between Nos 10 and 12, to a point 6.6 metres north; Victoria Road (North Side, parallel to the kerb line) - From a point 3 metres west of a point opposite the eastern gable of No 6, to a point 6.6 metres east; Embsay: Dalacres Crescent (East Side, parallel to the kerb line) - From a point 3 metres north of a point in line with the northern gable of Nos 16/18, to a point 6.6 metres south; Skipton: Princes Crescent (North Side, parallel to the kerb line) - From a point 8 metres north of Otley Road, to a point 6.6 metres west; Princes Drive (South East Side, parallel to the kerb line) -From a point 4 metres north east of the boundary between Nos 1 and 1a, to a point 6.6 metres north east.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 20/08/2018, together with maps showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Skipton Library, High Street, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 1JX and South Craven Community Library, Main Street, Cross Hills, Keighley BD20 8TQ during normal office
hours from 16/08/2018 to 21/09/2018 and also
viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks of
10/08/2018 make application to the High Court
for the purpose.
