NOTICE OF MAKING (Bunbury Ward) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles Over 7.5 Tonnes) (Except For Access) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that on 17th November 2016 the Cheshire East Borough Council (the "Council") made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (hereinafter referred to as "the 1984 Act") and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and in accordance with its duty under s122 of thel 984 Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 20th November 2016, is to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the 'Cheshire East Borough Council (Bunbury Ward) (Weight Restriction) (Experimental) Order 2015' which will prohibit heavy commercial vehicles (those goods vehicles with an operating weight in excess of 7.5T from proceeding, except for access, along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. A copy of the Order; a plan of the roads affected, a statement of reasons for making the Order and a copy of this public notice may be examined during the usual office hours at the Cheshire East Borough Council Offices, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ.
3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Nantwich Road, Chorley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, install new chamber and ducts Prohibition of traffic-Nantwich Road. Chorley From the junction with Chorley Green Lane to Chorley Hall Lane
The alternative route will be via Chorley Green Lane, Higginsfield Road, Whitchurch Road, Wrexham Road, Woodhey Hall Road, Woodhey Green, Woodhey Lane, Springe Lane and vice versa.which is considered the most suitable route.
The closures will be in place 24 hours a day This order will come into operation on 30th November 2016 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th December 2016.
