Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio'r darn hwnnw o Heol y Farchnad, Llangollen yn Sir Ddinbych, sy'n ymestyn i gyfeiriad y gorllewin o'i chyffordd a Heol y Castell hyd at ei chyffordd 9 Greenfield am bellter o tua 60 metr. Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn caniatau i Uned Waith Cyngor Sir Ddinbych ailadeiladu'r Ion gerbydau a'r droedffordd.
Bydd arwyddion ar y llwybr amgen ar hyd Heol y Castell (A539), Stryd y Berwyn (A5), Heol y Farchnad, Stryd y Dwyrain, a Parade Street. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Mae'r Gorchymyn yn weithredol o 8 Hydref 2021 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa bynnag un fydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith bara tan tua 31 Mawrth 2022.

MARKET STREET LLANGOLLEN
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of Market Street Llangollen in the County of Denbigh which extends westward from its junction with Castle Street to its junction with Greenfield for a distance of approximately 60 metres. The closure is necessary to facilitate carriageway and footway reconstruction by Denbighshire County Council Works Unit
The signposted alternative route will be via Castle Street (A539), Berwyn Street (A5), Market Street, East Street, and Parade Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The Order is effective from 8th October 2021 for an eighteen month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 31st March 2022.
