ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (Temporary Prohibition and Restriction of Traffic in Relation To The Royal Cheshire Show, Pickmere And Tabley) Orders 2021
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make orders, containing the following prohibitions and restrictions, to enable the management of volumes of traffic arising from the Royal Cheshire Show and thereby avoid the likelihood of danger to the public:
1. A speed limit of 40mph to be in force on the A556 Chester Road from its junction with the M6 Motorway at Junction 19 to the Cheshire West and Chester Council administrative boundary on Saturday 31 July 2021.
2. The prohibition of all traffic in Flittogate Lane, Tabley for its full extent on Saturday 31 July 2021.
3. A lane closure will be in force on School Lane, Pickmere on Saturday 31 July 2021.
4. The prohibition of waiting on the following lengths of roads on Saturday 31 July 2021;
i) Pickmere Lane, Pickmere - for its full extent
ii) School Lane, Pickmere - for its full extent
iii) Budworth Road, Pickmere - from the junction with Pickmere Lane to the junction with Frog Lane
iv) Frog Lane, Pickmere - from the junction with School Lane to the junction with Budworth Road
v) Park Lane, Pickmere - for its full extent
vi) Flittogate Lane, Pickmere - for its full extent The alternative routes for traffic will be as directed by signs/traffic management operatives on site.
