ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL STOPPING UP OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 44 (SILSDEN), HAWBER COTE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1186) ORDER EXTENSION

NOTICE is hereby given that on 1st July 2020 Secretary of State for Transport approved the continuing in force of the above named order the effect of which is that Public Footpath No. 44 (Silsden), Hawber Cote should continue to be stopped up restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public and as a result no person shall proceed in the length of Public Footpath No. 44 (Silsden) from its junction with Public Footpath No. 46 (Silsden) to its junction with Public Footpath No. 45 (Silsden).

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works to be carried out on the said length of public footpath. No alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order will be available. The Order came into operation on 9th January 2020 and remains in force by virtue of the consent of Secretary of State for Transport given on the 1st July 2020 approving a continuing in force of the above Order until 5th January 2021 or until such time as a Permanent Order diverting the said public footpath is made (which ever is the earlier). DATED this 6th day of July 2020.
