PEARL VERA BOWDEN On November 27th, peacefully in Glen Rosa Care Home, Ilkley, aged 89 years, of Addingham & formerly Winnington & Davenham. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Randle Bowden, much loved mother of Liz & a very dear grandmother of Henry. Funeral service will take place at Skipton Crematorium, on Monday December 10th at 12:30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Myathesenia Gravis Association, for which a plate will be available at the service. To Elizabeth. Very sorry and sad to learn your mother's death. I didn't know why for several monthes I was thinking of you, your parents, their place in Davenham, the place where I began to learn english really, when I was 13...Do you remember that french girl who came twice during summer holidays ? I do...and keep a lovely memory... I remember so well your parents, the visits, the week in Swanage...everything in your parents'house... They've been so nice for me. I didn't stay for a long time...but it staid important for me.
