Praise for kind youngsters

THE youngsters of today are not given a good name, drug abuse, drinking, vandalism and much more.

I would like to think that these are the minority, and praise the others who are kind, thoughtful and respectful. My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter have experienced nothing but help and kindness from our grandson Adam Boyle’s many, many friends, both male and female, since he so tragically lost his life recently. I have never known such thoughtfulness and respect. We, as Adam’s nan and granddad, and I’m sure all his family, would like to thank each and every one of them. They are such a huge part of what is keeping Shaun, Yvonne and Emma going. It makes us proud to know that Adam had such loyal good friends. No-one can give an answer as to why this terrible thing happened, but I’m sure Adam is looking down with his big, beautiful smile and saying “Good on ya”, to all his mates for looking after his mum, dad and sister.

On the other side of the coin I would like to say how despicable the low life who stole the t-shirt tributes from Adam’s special place is.

One day hopefully something terrible will happen in your life to make you realise how low you have sunk, although I doubt it very much, people like you do not have a twinge of conscience. Just ask yourself, where will you find true friends when you need them?
