Ill conceived idea

I WOULD like to add my voice to the comments regarding the gyratory system.

I am directly affected by the new system and having used it daily since its inception, I find that it has made no difference at all to the traffic congestion for drivers trying to get into or through town.

What it has done is make life difficult for those who live on the system. I would suggest abandoning this ill conceived idea rather than throwing good money after bad.

I use it every day to get back and to to the Swimming Pool from Rudheath and I find it BRILLIANT!

yes,it seems there isnt a subject you dont have an opinion on,and it always seems to be contrary to the majority. i think you just like to stir and argue.Though you of course have the right to your own opinion,it dos"nt mean your always right as you seem to think!

Where have I said I am right? I have expressed the belief that for me the new system is fine and that is all I have done. I have not said it should be left as it is, nor have I said it should be changed. As for there not being a subject I don't have an opinion on I think that applies to almost everyone, all I do is express that opinion, whether people agree with me bothers me not one jot. Always right? Not according to the wife! Like to stir and argue? Not so, but if I disagree with something I say so whether it is popular or not. Freedom of Speech is a right we have in this country so feel free to disagree with me if you will but don't expect me to stop stating my opinion on ANY subject I have an interest in.

You are wrong about me and about the gyrator system, there does that make you happy? I suggest you check my comments on here, I think you will find I agree with a hell of a lot of people on a lot of subjects. I have an opinion, sadly too many people in this country do not which is why we are run by idiots.

Having seen the queue today, all the way from the end of London road, right up to the Chester Way roundabout, and the only other time I can think of such a long queue being there is when there was a lane closure last year, I think it's time to kiss the Gyratory goodbye. The poll on the Guardian Homepage says it all, only 13% of voters think it's of any benefit.

That is a fair comment fishsta, but I can only comment on my own personal journeys where I have found the system to be okay. Perhaps if they stopped digging up the roads all over the area it would improve things.

It's cost 1/4 million pounds before the extra spent on the changes.

The tinkering seems to have made no difference. The fact is we need a replacement bridge or bridges and we ain't gonna get that! It would appear that the one way system whilst fine in many ways is like the old system in that it has serious flaws at peak times. (When luckily for me I don't have to use it). WHS
