I SEE that in addition to the reduction in the number of waste disposal sites in our county, Cheshire East Council has now, in its wisdom, imposed a fee of £3.50 per bag for disposal of hardcore and rubble - including ash and other domestic detritus at the remaining sites.
To avoid this charge I propose we should use such hardcore to fill pot holes in the roads which have not been repaired by the council.
